Job Description
JobPrism is looking for General Practitioners in Kintbury.
You will provide routine and urgent appointments with manageable workflows and clear admin processes.
Flexible sessions available up to 2 days per week, with scope to add sessions if desired.
Role Snapshot
• Sessional GP support with balanced clinics and defined expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, patient-centred consultations across acute and chronic care
• Manage same-day demand and triage outcomes within agreed pathways
• Complete appropriate referrals, fit notes and medication reviews
• Maintain high-quality records, coding and safeguarding awareness
• Work with the wider team to support continuity and timely follow-up
• Contribute to shared clinical decision-making and escalation when needed
Working Pattern
• Part-time and locum options available depending on preference
• Up to 2 days per week with flexible session times
• Combination of face-to-face and telephone appointments by agreement
Requirements
• GMC registration with a licence to practise and inclusion on the GP Register
• Recent UK GP experience in primary care settings
• Confident working with EMIS or SystmOne and routine clinical coding
• Up-to-date mandatory training including safeguarding
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining high clinical standards
