Job Description

JobPrism is looking for Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Crymych.

You will deliver autonomous same-day and routine clinics, with clear escalation routes and supportive practice systems.

Flexible sessions available up to 3 days per week, with start and finish times agreed in advance.

Role Snapshot
• Primary care ANP clinics with a mix of acute presentations and long-term condition reviews.

Key Responsibilities
• Undertake advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning
• Prescribe independently within scope and local protocols
• Manage minor illness and urgent presentations, including safety-netting and follow-up
• Request and interpret investigations and initiate evidence-based management
• Document accurately and code consultations to support QOF and continuity
• Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses and admin teams to maintain flow

Working Pattern
• Locum shifts with flexible sessional booking
• Up to 3 days per week available, with options for regular weekly sessions
• Mix of telephone and face-to-face depending on practice need

Requirements
• NMC registration as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or equivalent credentialed role
• Independent Prescriber qualification with recent primary care prescribing experience
• Recent UK primary care experience managing undifferentiated presentations
• Confident using EMIS or SystmOne and maintaining high-quality clinical coding
• Up-to-date safeguarding and basic life support training
