Job Description

JobPrism is looking for General Practitioners to join a supportive surgery team in Fareham.

You will deliver routine and on-the-day GP consultations with strong admin support.

Up to 2 days a week available with flexible session structure.

Role Snapshot
• Balanced GP sessions with a mix of face-to-face, telephone, and clinical admin time.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide safe, timely GP consultations across a varied patient population
• Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe in line with best practice and local formularies
• Review and action results, documents, and clinical correspondence
• Make appropriate referrals and liaise with community and secondary care
• Maintain high-quality clinical notes and coding standards
• Contribute to safeguarding, QOF, and governance processes as required
• Work collaboratively with the MDT to support continuity of care

Working Pattern
• Up to 2 days per week
• Flexible sessions with agreed clinical admin allocation
• Session length and start times can be tailored where possible

Requirements
• GMC registered with a licence to practise
• On the GP Register with appropriate UK primary care experience
• Competent with common clinical systems and digital workflows
• Strong communication skills and patient-centred consulting style
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge and information governance awareness
• Enhanced DBS and UK right to work
